Project overview
Vanir provided project and construction management services for Tacoma Public Schools’ new Skyline Elementary School, one of eight school replacements/historic renovations funded by a $535 million school construction bond passed in 2020. The 45,145-square-foot facility includes two classroom wings that connect to a central learning commons area/cafeteria, as well as a gym with a stage and learning space for special needs students. The library includes a mural depicting the Tacoma area. Site work involved a new synthetic playfield and track, walking path, parent/bus drop off routes, parking and playgrounds.
