Project overview
Vanir served as the project manager for the South Placer Adult Correctional Facility, a medium/maximum security detention facility with a capacity for 980 inmates. In conjunction with the Placer County Department of Facility Services, we were responsible for managing the pre-design, design, and construction phase activities from project conception through occupancy and commissioning.
Vanir assisted the County by preparing all criteria documents for the design-build procurement with a design competition factor. We also helped in preparing the request for proposal and conducting a thorough review, evaluation and selection process to establish a roster of qualified entities.
