Overview of projects

Vanir is providing program and construction management services for Santa Monica Community College District’s bond construction program passed in 2016. These services include advising the District on phasing, grouping and prioritizing of projects, as well as potential cost-saving approaches to construction. One of the core assignments is to provide technical and financial assistance in the planning and execution of projects for the highly complex engineering and architectural college, valued at up to $120 million.

Projects include the following new facilities at Santa Monica College:

  • Math and Science Building
  • Art Complex Replacement Building
  • Early Childhood Lab School
  • Malibu Center and Sheriff Substation
  • Math and Science Temporary Village and Modular project

Projects include the following upgrades at Santa Monica College:

  • Malibu new water main line
  • HVAC full upgrade
  • Student Services upgrade
