Quileute Tribal School

Project overview

Vanir provided owner’s representative services for the progressive design-build (PDB) of the Quileute Tribal School, a new 60,000-square-foot K-12 school. The project was constructed on land returned to the Tribe through federal legislation and is the first facility built as part of the “Move to Higher Ground” development. The new school is funded by the Bureau of Indian Affairs through the No Child Left Behind Act.

Vanir’s services included:

  • Solicitation development and contract award of PDB contract
  • PDB process oversight
  • Design and construction administration overseeing budget, schedule and quality assurance
  • Solicitation process oversight for value engineering, testing and inspection, third-party design reviews/code inspections and commissioning
  • FF&E coordination
  • Completion of project closeout and assisting the Tribe with move-in process
