Project overview

The joint venture (JV) of Vanir and OAC Services, Inc. provided project and construction management services for the Photon Science Laboratory Building located on the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) campus.

The facility is a multi-phased tenant improvement project with exterior work consisting of an electrical and liquid nitrogen yard. It includes spaces for laser laboratories, biology laboratories, clean rooms and administration services.

Vanir has provided project and construction management services for several SLAC projects under a task-order contract.

Always putting safety first

The JV worked closely with the project team to ensure that SLAC’s impressive “1 Million Contractor Hours Without Lost-Time Accident” record was maintained with this project. Our efforts enforced the commitment to safely delivering a cutting edge facility and furthering the scientific advancements of this highly-recognized Department of Energy laboratory.
