Natomas Unified School District

Project overview

Vanir provided project and construction management services for nine Natomas Unified School District projects, beginning in 2016. The scope of work ranged from campus upgrades and improved classrooms to a new charter academy, a new TK-8 school, three K-8 conversions and a culinary facility. Funding for these projects was allocated by Bond Measures D, J and L and Prop 51.

Our team provided full-service professional and technical construction management. Key projects include:

  • Westlake Charter School: New 62,000-square-foot charter academy
  • Paso Verde K-8 School: New 87,082-square-foot school
  • Heron, Heredia-Arriaga and Bannon Creek Schools: K-8 conversions; projects include the addition of new gyms and a new classroom building at two of the three sites
  • Discovery High School: New 2,746-square-foot culinary arts teaching/demonstration kitchen and cafe
