Los Angeles World Airports Capital Improvement Program

Program overview

Vanir | ASL, a joint venture, is currently providing project and construction management services to Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), the seventh largest airport in the world and the third busiest airport in the country.

Our seven-year, staff augmentation contract involves support services, through all phases of construction, for LAWA’s $14 billion capital improvement program.

Our team’s involvement includes:

  • Project management services for a Fire Station/Training Facility within the airport footprint for LAWA’s internal fire department.
  • Project management services for a $30 million low voltage infrastructure project.

Vanir has been providing project and construction management services for LAWA for various projects since 2005, including the $500 million LEED Gold Central Utility Plant Replacement project completed in 2015 (Vanir/AECOM provided project management services).

Culture of collaboration

” Vanir’s team was instrumental in providing the necessary leadership throughout the process—establishing a culture of collaboration that brought all stakeholders together to achieve project success.”
