Kern Community College District – Delano Learning Resource Center

Project overview

Vanir is providing construction management services for the new Delano Learning Resource Center, a 39,900-square-foot, two-story facility being built on Kern Community College District’s Delano Campus. This building will allow the District to serve an additional 1,000 students and eliminate the need for students to drive to the District’s Bakersfield Campus for specialized classes. The facility will house several academic functions, including a library, study hall, flexible classrooms, a tutoring center, computer labs and faculty offices. Support services such as admissions and records, financial aid and counseling will also be located in the new building. Vanir’s role includes overseeing the demolition of 9,463 square feet of existing portable buildings.
