Program overview
Vanir provided program, project and construction management services for Highline Public Schools’ $384 million capital bond program. Our services included managing the design for all projects, which resulted in tight bids within the owner’s estimate, substantial bid coverage (notable in a hot economy) and few changes during construction.
The program was completed on time and below budget, meeting promises to the voters. Projects included:
- Olympic Interim High School: 101,074 square feet, project cost of $33.3 million, completed summer 2019
- Des Moines Elementary School: 84,379 square feet, project cost of $57.8 million, completed summer 2019
- Glacier Middle School: 142,000 square feet, project cost of $91.4 million, completed summer 2019
- Highline High School: 225,000 square feet, project cost of $151.8 million, completed summer 2021
