Diocese of Fresno – St. Charles Borromeo Church

Project overview

Vanir provided project and construction management services for the Diocese of Fresno’s new 32,192-square-foot St. Charles Borromeo Church. As of 2022, it is the largest parish Catholic Church in the United States. This world-renowned church is a highlight for Tulare County and seats more than 3,200 people. Its mission-style architecture was inspired by the rich history of the missions throughout California. The project included a new courtyard, parking lots and site improvements.

The Vanir team played a key role in navigating the complexities of building the Church during the COVID-19 pandemic. We efficiently negotiated potential change orders, managed commissioning efforts and aided the Diocese in making decisions that would best benefit the church long after project completion.
