Dignity Health Ivy Brain Tumor Center

Project overview

Vanir is providing project management services for Dignity Health’s Ivy Brain Tumor Center (IBTC), the world’s largest translational research center dedicated to brain tumor drug development and brain tumor research. Currently, the program is divided among three separate buildings. The new Center will bring the program under one roof, improving the patient experience and allowing additional patient and family support services.

IBTC’s 75,000 square feet will include:

  • 30,000 square feet of wet laboratory space
  • 14,000 square feet for trials infrastructure
  • 7,000 square feet for multidisciplinary clinical consultations
  • An magnetic resonance guided ultrasound suite
  • A video teleconference auditorium
  • An 1,800-square-foot two-story lobby

The additional 23,400 square feet of wet space (currently only 6,400) will allow for more new clinical trials, partnerships, drug assessments, etc.
