Project overview

Vanir has served the County of Los Angeles Internal Services Department (ISD) since 1998, delivering more than 3,500 projects and $700 million in facility improvements construction. We have provided program, project and construction management, scheduling, estimating, technical studies, coordination manuals and LEED expertise. Projects include:

  • ADA Projects: Parking lots, ramps, entrances, path of travel, restrooms, drinking fountains, doors, elevators and placement of fire alarm panels
  • Hazmat Material Remediation: Survey/testing of hazardous materials and abatement or encapsulation of asbestos and lead-based paint
  • HVAC: Chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, pumps, duct cleaning, environmental controls and hot/chilled water lines
  • Electrical: Service changes, sub panels, energy efficiency lighting retrofits, electrical outlets, fire alarms, security systems, key card access and duress alarms
  • Tenant Improvements: Office remodels/renovations, paint, flooring, roofing millwork, window coverings, ceilings and wall/door relocations
  • Telecommunications: Telephone cabling, data cabling, conduit runs, CCTV, Wi-Fi and main computer and telephone rooms
