Conejo Valley Unified School District

Program overview

Our work for Conejo Valley Unified School District began in 1997, when Vanir was selected to provide construction management services for two 400-seat performing arts centers, designed by separate architects. Based on our performance (both projects were completed with less than 2% change orders), we were chosen to manage the District’s Measure R Modernization and New Construction Program in 1999.

Vanir provided program management, master scheduling, budgeting and construction management services for 31 campuses. Our value engineering, change order negotiation and schedule analysis for the entire program kept it running smoothly and all project objectives were met. Following the completion of Measure R in 2007, Vanir continued to provide construction management services for ongoing modernization work.

In 2014, we assisted in the successful pursuit of the District’s $197 million Measure I Bond, and with the preparation of the master planning program.

The quality of services rendered by individual project managers and the support provided by Vanir’s corporate offices has consistently exceeded our expectations.
