Project overview
Vanir is providing construction management services to Community Transit to expand its existing 24/7 maintenance and operations building by 19,207 square feet. This will provide additional space for vehicle maintenance and repair operations. The project includes renovating the existing vehicle maintenance shop to provide modern vehicle maintenance lifts, vehicle exhaust extraction and other systems and equipment installations.
The project involves civil improvements to the site (including stormwater retention/conveyance and concrete paving for additional bus feet parking), as well as structural work (new mezzanine space and raising the bus wash and fueling facilities roof for double-decker buses).
