City of Killeen Community Center Renovation

Project overview

Vanir was selected to provide project and construction management services for the Killeen Community Center, a 42-year-old facility that underwent its first major renovation and modernization. Our team was tasked with managing the overall renovation, with energy efficiency requirements as part of the challenge.

The scope of work included replacing the canopy, weather-proofing the facility and bringing it into full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Along with bathroom and locker room renovations, the project also consisted of replacing the center’s heating, ventilation and cooling systems.

Vanir also provided constructability reviews, value analysis and estimating services.
