Tom Tracy serves as Vanir’s Senior Executive Director/Transportation Lead. In this role, he is responsible for leading national development, planning and strategy, working collaboratively with all regions to spearhead initiatives focused on the successful acquisition of new transportation business.
Tom brings 40 years of experience in a wide range of infrastructure and transportation programs and projects. His career has evolved from designer to program and project manager and now market leader. Tom’s full resume includes over 50 large-scale transportation projects alone. His experience also includes preliminary engineering and environmental clearance, managing projects as a contract or task manager, performing public outreach and acting as a design or quality manager.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. As a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of California, Nevada and Washington and an Envision Sustainability Professional, he is an experienced project and people manager and a key advocate for sustainable infrastructure. Tom is also a proud member of the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Public Works Association and the Civil Engineering Program Industry Advisory Committee at California State University, Sacramento.
