Codi Newsom serves as Vanir’s Mountain Region Area Manager. In this role, Codi works collaboratively with corporate leadership and Area staff to identify, pursue and capture new business; deliver innovative solutions that result in successful projects; and develop new Area and project policies and procedures.
She has more than 20 years of valuable experience providing program, project and construction management; structural review; and ADA compliance review services to both public and private sector clients in the education (K-12 and higher), state and local government, justice and essential services and healthcare markets. Through her extensive experience, which has covered the full project lifecycle from concept through closeout, Codi offers the invaluable ability to protect project funds and taxpayer dollars while achieving owners’ goals and maximizing project value.
Codi holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (structural engineering) from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Wyoming. She is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and a LEED Accredited Professional.
Codi is a proud member of the Construction Management Association of America, the U.S. Green Building Council, Change Leadership, the Colorado Municipal League, the Colorado Jail Association and the Association for Learning Environments. She was also named in a select group, “Top 20 Under 40,” by Engineering News-Record Louisiana & Texas.
