Carlos Melendez serves as Vanir’s Chief Information Officer. He provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust and secure information technology (IT) environment throughout Vanir. The primary responsibilities for his office encompass a wide variety of strategic technology issues, including governance and policy, IT operations, IT infrastructure, IT enterprise applications support, IT client computing, IT resource allocation, IT protocols and the Vanir IT organization.
Vanir Technology provides support for enterprise development, delivery of IT infrastructure and services, information security systems and compliance, administrative systems and client support services.
Prior to joining Vanir, Carlos spent 20 years in IT roles in the construction of power automation systems, electronic manufacturing services, retail and the food and beverage industry. He holds a Master of Business Administration and Management from California State University, Stanislaus and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
