We are thrilled to announce that Scott Murphy has been promoted to the position of Central California Area Manager. In this new role, he will work collaboratively with Vanir’s corporate leadership and area staff to identify, pursue and capture new business; deliver innovative solutions that result in successfully executed projects; and continue to develop our Central California team.
Scott has nearly 30 years of experience providing project and construction management services to clients in the justice and essential services, public works, K-12 education, healthcare and water/wastewater markets. His areas of expertise include front-end specification writing, design, project setup, design reviews, constructability reviews, estimating, value engineering, scheduling, contract negotiations, bid solicitation, code compliance, LEED charrettes, claims negotiation, ADA compliance and inspection. He is also a Certified Construction Manager and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from California State University, Fresno.
Initially joining Vanir in 2008, Scott has advanced through various positions within the company, including Construction Manager, Senior Construction Manager, Project Director, Senior Project Director/Associate and Deputy Area Manager/Associate.
