Sanford Rose Promoted to Executive Director of Justice & Essential Services

Vanir is pleased to announce that Sanford Rose has been promoted to the position of Executive Director of Justice and Essential Services.

With over three decades in corrections, Sanford has served as a project director, owner’s representative, and facility owner across all phases of planning, construction, and operations. His background and experience reflect a commitment to enhancing public safety, optimizing operations, and fostering collaborative environments.

Among his many contributions and accomplishments, Sanford directly managed the completion and operationalization of a new build multipurpose rehabilitation center at Orange County Juvenile Hall, a highly collaborative project coordinated between the State of California, County of Orange, and the Probation Department. He also provided executive management oversight on homelike improvements at two juvenile facilities for Los Angeles County Probation. As Project Director for the department’s owner’s representation team, he worked closely with the Los Angeles Internal Services Department, Probation, the Board of State and Community Corrections, Department of Justice, Los Angeles Board of Supervisors, Office of the Inspector General, and Probation Oversight Committee to ensure the extensive upgrades to corrections facilities met all oversight and legal standards.

As our Executive Director of Justice and Essential Services, Sanford will support Vanir and regional management with our ongoing pursuits in program, project, and construction management. Within the justice and essential services market sector, Vanir’s mission is to deliver state-of-the-art detention facilities, courthouses and public safety related facilities.
