We are thrilled to announce that Ron Roberts has been promoted to the position of Central States Area Manager. In this new role, he will be responsible for leading Vanir’s project teams in several states, including Illinois, Louisiana and Texas.
Ron has more than 30 years of experience providing program management, construction management and quality assurance to clients in the K-12, major industrial and institutional construction markets. He has also completed robust training in multiple project administration, construction safety, project management and LEED construction administration and has been responsible for all aspects of the construction process from program development through project closeout.
Prior to joining Vanir as a Project Director in July of 2019, Ron worked as a Senior Project Director for Lone Star College and as the Director of Safety, a Project Manager, Program Director and finally Regional Director for the Kwame Building Group. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Tuskegee University.
Former Central States Area Manager Kamal Ariss, who has stepped down from his position, will continue to support the Central States’ sales and business development efforts on a part-time basis. We are grateful for Kamal’s years of commitment to Vanir and wish him continued success in this new role.
