Codi Newsom, PE, LEED AP, Promoted to Mountain Region Area Manager

We are thrilled to announce that Codi Newsom has been promoted to the position of Mountain Region Area Manager.

Codi has more than 20 years of valuable experience providing program, project and construction management; structural review; and ADA compliance review services to both public and private sector clients across a variety of markets. Through her extensive experience, which has covered the full project lifecycle from concept through closeout, Codi offers the invaluable ability to protect project funds and taxpayer dollars while achieving owners’ goals and maximizing project value.

Prior to joining Vanir in August of 2020 as a Project Director, Codi worked for ECM International as a Senior Program Manager, owned her own consulting firm providing project management services, worked as a Project Manager for Broaddus & Associates and practiced engineering (focused on multi-use, high-rise structures). Through a joint effort between Vanir and ECM International, she worked with Vanir on the Hays County Public Safety Bond Program, which kicked off in 2016.

Codi holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Wyoming. She is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and a LEED Accredited Professional.

As Vanir’s new Mountain Region Area Manager, Codi will work collaboratively with corporate leadership and Area staff to identify, pursue and capture new business; deliver innovative solutions that result in successful projects; and develop new Area and project policies and procedures.

Former Arizona Area Manager Jennifer Frost, who will step down from her position on March 15, will continue to support Vanir, the Valleywise Health team and other strategic initiatives in the Arizona region in a part-time capacity. We are grateful for Jennifer’s years of commitment to Vanir and the Arizona team and wish her continued success as she transitions into this new focus.
