One Community Health

Project overview

Vanir served as the project and construction manager, providing progressive design-build preconstruction services for phase I of One Community Health’s Kings Way clinic renovation. This was part of One Community Health’s 10-year strategic plan to expand access to high-quality, patient-centered care and address the healthcare needs of their community. The program will provide services for outpatient primary care, women’s health, integrated behavioral health, specialty care, dental care, after-hours care, imaging and training/conferences.

The new HCAI (formerly OSHPD) 3 medical facility will be constructed within an existing three-story building, totaling approximately 43,000 square feet. Targeting LEED Silver certification, the facility will feature:

  • A cultural center
  • A respite center
  • A dog relief area
  • Walk-up pharmacy services
  • Environmental vehicle charging units
  • A second gurney-sized elevator within the building’s interior, in addition to the single existing passenger elevator

Vanir acted as One Community Health’s on-site representative and project coordinator throughout design, providing planning, programming, design-builder procurement, and design coordination, as well as establishing a guaranteed maximum price for the construction phase.
