Sequim School District selected Vanir to assist in the renovation and expansion of its central kitchen, and demolition of the unused, 1950’s portion of the District’s community school. Our project management and construction management services include overseeing the planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction, and closeout phases.
Both projects are part of the Capital Projects Levy passed in 2017, which allows the District to qualify for $4.3 million in state matching funds for new school construction once a construction bond is approved.
Vanir has provided guidance to the District on design approach, constructability review, and strategies to maximize local contractor engagement and the use of matching funds from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). Our team is also providing prebond planning and condition assessments for all of the District’s facilities.
