North County Regional Education Center

Project Overview

The North County Regional Education Center project consisted of a 71,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility and a two-story parking structure. This Education Center serves as a “virtual presence” for 25 North County school districts, introducing students and teachers to the latest in classroom technology. It houses offices for San Marcos Unified School District, regional intervention programs, tutoring spaces, a juvenile court school, a beginning teachers support and assessment program, and various programs for the San Diego County Office of Education.

Vanir’s services included the resolution of the pre‐qualification process; preparation of the design-build solicitation documents during the selection phase, including a design competition; and normal owner’s representation during the construction phase.
