Manhattan Beach Police & Fire Facility

Vanir provided full construction management services for this project, which included the demolition of an existing facility and the construction of a combined police and fire facility.

The building is a two-story structure and includes a basement with a 340-car subterranean parking structure. The fire station facility includes administrative offices, a four-bay engine room, living quarters, a kitchen and training and fitness areas.

Overcoming Challenges

Vanir’s staff played a key role in moving the project forward in spite of major weather delays caused by an unprecedented 38 inches of rain in the ’05-’06 season. We provided leadership and guidance to the project team and managed to successfully complete the project.
