Imperial County Oren R. Fox Medium Security Detention Facility

Project overview

Vanir served as the bridging documents architect and construction manager for a new two-story medium security adult detention center. It was constructed on 2.3 acres of county-owned land adjacent to Imperial County’s existing jail. In addition, the project included an 8,000-square-foot building that holds a video visitation center and a vocational print shop.

The new facility provides 274 beds and include housing, healthcare, program, intake and release, administrative and support services space.

Vanir is not only a partner in your project, they are truly concerned with the building’s success and the customer’s level of happiness. Our team was fortunate to have Vanir complete our needs assessment and then become our project manager through construction. Our team was stronger because of their presence, teamwork, commitment, and dedication to the project.
