Vanir Construction Management, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Ferst, CCM to the position of area manager/associate for San Francisco. In his new role Daniel will focus on marketing and business development, project operations, quality of services, staffing and administration for the area. Judith Wallace, who previously held the position, has taken a new role in our Sacramento office as the director of business development.
Daniel has more than 17 years of industry experience in program, project and construction management. With a background in general contracting, he has provided professional services during design and construction, emphasizing cost, schedule and quality control and ensuring client satisfaction. He joined Vanir in 2006 as a senior project manager on Vanir’s Tamalpais Union High School District Program. As Vanir’s project director on the San Francisco Unified School District Bond Program he has managed our team of construction managers and succeeded in winning additional work with the district. In addition to developing a staff that delivers quality services to our clients, Daniel has been active in identifying leads for new projects and participating in the proposal and interview process.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a certified construction manager.
