Last month a topping off ceremony was held for San Francisco’s new Public Safety building!
The building is located on a city-owned parcel in Mission Bay and will house San Francisco’s police administrative headquarters, the relocated southern district police station, a new fire station (Station #4) for the San Francisco Fire Department, and staff vehicle parking. The project also includes the rehabilitation of the existing Fire Station #30 structure for community and fire department administrative uses. New construction includes 1-level below grade and 6-levels above grade of approximately 300,000 gross square feet. Work also includes on-site and off-site paving and landscaping, sidewalks, and site barriers.
