Firm Set To Manage Second Phase of Port Angeles Sewer Overflow Project

The Peninsula Daily News has featured an article highlighting Vanir Construction Management, Inc. The City of Port Angeles has appointed Vanir to manage the construction of the second phase of a multimillion-dollar effort to decrease the amount of sewage flooding into Port Angeles Harbor. This $1.56 million contract will allow Vanir to oversee the second phase of the project which will include a new upgraded pump station.

City Engineer Mike Puntenney has confidence in Vanir stating, “Vanir proved highly capable in their accomplishments in the first phase of the CSO project.” Phase one work included installation of a 5 million-gallon storage tank that the city purchased on their former mill property.
