Russell has been appointed by the Construction Management Association of America to serve as one of two Commissioners responsible to the ABET Accreditation organization for the accreditation of construction management and related degree programs, worldwide. ABET has roots in accreditation dating from 1932. It serves the public globally through the promotion and advancement of education in the fields of Applied Science, Construction, Engineering, and Engineering Technology. ABET currently provides comprehensive accreditation services for more than three thousand degree programs in 24 nations.
Mr. Russell was the co-founder of Vanir CM and is a Director of the firm. He has been a member of CMAA for more than thirty years, is a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), former Chancellor of CMAA’s College of Fellows, and a past President of CMAA.
