Vanir Safe

At Vanir, safety is more than just a buzzword – it’s a state of mind. It’s something we eat, drink and breathe at every Vanir office and worksite across the country. It’s what protects our clients, partners and communities and ensures that our employees make it home to their families each night. As such, we are committed to maintaining a record of zero jobsite accidents and injuries.

Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility

Accident prevention is critical to a successful program or project. Our comprehensive safety program, Vanir Safe, assists in keeping incidents to a minimum by requiring that all project team members (owner’s representatives, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, third-party inspectors and other stakeholders) and visitors comply with the safety rules and regulations specific to each project site. Safety is the responsibility of every team member, from project and construction managers to on-site field staff and back-office personnel. We are proud to provide a work environment that upholds safe behavior and empowers all employees to take responsibility for safety.

Safety Training and Resources

We are committed to providing all available resources, including federal, state and local safety standards, corporate policies and procedures; personal protective equipment (PPE); and proper training, to ensure that every employee works safely and effectively. In addition to OSHA-10 certification training and job-specific training, we also offer continuous education training programs through our online training system, Vanir University.

COVID 19: Health and Safety

In adherence with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and various state and local health protection agencies, we have implemented social distancing guidelines and work safety protocols to protect our employees, clients, partners and communities. All Vanir employees have also been provided with critical personal protective equipment and COVID-19 safety training, as well as access to mental health resources. As COVID-19 continues to evolve, we will continue to adapt our best practices to support our people and clients.
