Los Angeles Mission College Library-Learning Resource Center
Sylmar, CA

Our Services Delivered Success
Vanir's design phase project management and construction management services successfully delivered the three-story library-learning resource center, which is the centerpiece of the community college campus in Sylmar. The center features a 20,000 sq. ft. library, and a 15,000 sq. ft. computer training facility and learning assistance center that opens onto the central quad of the campus. The lowest level houses audio-video studios, labs and a terraced teleconference/distance learning center.

Technology at its Best
This is an advanced, technologically integrated building, connecting over 500 computers to a fiber optic network. Satellite uplink and downlink capabilities are provided for interactive video teleconferencing and distance learning programs/capabilities. Computer connections allow access to catalogue information and book collections in university and public libraries throughout the nation.
