Delivery of New Healthcare Facility
The Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion is a new, 12-story healthcare facility including:

  • medical/surgical areas
  • intensive care units
  • labor/delivery/recovery rooms
  • operating rooms and support services
Five floors were added to provide for future inpatient care, allowing the facility to eventually house more than 300 inpatient beds. Hospital rooms are equipped with patient-controlled, wireless internet access, teleconferencing, and 20-inch flat screen televisions.

We Helped Negotiate the GMP to Below Budget
Vanir assisted the University Hospital with the preparation, review, and negotiation of the architect and the CM/GC contracts, the negotiation of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), and estimate coordination. The GMP was negotiated to below the owner's budget.

Our staff also reviewed the contractor's schedule and assisted in the preparation of the project master schedule and reviewed monthly updates.
