Vanir Wins Major CDCR Contract!

Vanir has been selected by the State of California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR)
to provide program management services for the Secure Reentry Program Facilities. Funding for this
program is $2.7 billion.

Vanir, as part of the STK Architecture Team, has been selected by the City of Moreno
Valley for the design and construction of three new fire stations and a neighborhood
park. Vanir’s services will include preconstruction phase services during design, bid
and award phase assistance to the city, and construction phase management services.
All three fire stations typically will be 9,000 sq. ft., housing 16 personnel, and
will include a 3 bay drive-through apparatus room large enough to house 1 triple
combination pumper, 1 aerial ladder truck and at least 2 miscellaneous support vehicles.
The 6.85 acre neighborhood park will consist of children's play areas, an interactive
water splash feature, trails, a restroom facility, gazebos, and a basketball court.

William S. Hart Union High School District’s Junior Air Force ROTC Facility at Valencia High School has
received a Project Achievement Award from the Southern California Chapter of the Construction Management
Association of America. The category was for Best Public Sector Projects less than $10 million.

Will Rogers Middle School Will Transmit Solar Education, Coast to Coast

Groundbreaking for Vanir’s New Headquarters

A groundbreaking ceremony for Vanir’s new headquarters was held in Sacramento on June 28 and
attended by several members of the project delivery team: Vanir Development, Bagatelos Development,
Vanir Construction Management, John F. Otto and RMW architecture & interiors. Dorene Dominguez,
Chairman of the Board for Vanir, introduced the team members and welcomed everyone to the beginning
of a very exciting project.

New Emergency Room at San Quentin State Prison

Vanir has been working with the federal Receiver in developing and managing multiple projects
related to medical care in San Quentin. Recently, we completed construction for a $1.6 million triage
Treatment Area. Total time from scope definition to occupancy was less than eight months. We did
this without any Architects or Engineers. Programming, concept design and limited working drawings
were done by Vanir.
