Vanir recently celebrated the ground breaking of the St. Paul the Apostle New Learning Center and Gymnasium.  This $14 million project located in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, includes 36,000 SF of new construction adjacent to an active school and worship facilities.

The new building will house San Francisco’s police administrative headquarters, the relocated southern district police station, a new fire station (Station #4) for the San Francisco Fire Department, and staff vehicle parking.
The Hayward Unified School District Measure I Bond Program has won the 2013 Project of the Year award from the Northern California Chapter of CMAA for projects over $100 million. Vanir was honored at an awards ceremony held on April 25, 2013 at the Concord Hilton.
On March 25, Vanir donated 20 hard hats to the Clinton-Mendenhall Elementary School in Garden Grove, CA.  After learning that the school’s search and rescue team needed the hats to complete their emergency kits, Vanir was happy to help.
Vanir is excited to announce that Playa Vista Elementary School (CRES #22) has won a 2013 Project Achievement Award from the Southern California Chapter of CMAA.
The King Khalid Medical City (KKMC) broke ground this week with the initial site clearing! This is the first construction start for a Vanir project abroad. KKMC is the largest greenfield project of five integrated medical cities currently underway in the Saudi Kingdom.
Over the last 25 years, Mr. Morgan, CCM has continued to provide excellent service to many of Vanir’s clients.  He is a 45-year veteran of the design and construction industry, with nearly 30 years of expertise in the justice field.
Bill Lacher was presented two awards – the 2012 Chairman’s Award, along with the 2012 Distinguished Service Award. Additionally, the CMAA Gulf Coast Chapter, which was founded by Mr. Lacher in 2011, received the award for National Chapter of the Year for Population Division II.
Congratulations to Vanir's water/wastewater expert, Troy Pyles, PE on his 20 years of service to the company! Troy was hired in October 1992 and became our water/wastewater market segment leader in 2007.

Congratulations to Judith Wallace, CCM on her twenty years of service to Vanir.  Judith was hired in August 1992 as a project manager and currently serves as our director of business development, based in Sacramento, CA.
