San Juan Unified School District Modernization Program
Carmichael, CA

Project Overview

In 1996, Vanir began providing program, project and construction management services for the $200M Measure S Modernization Program that successfully modernized more than sixty schools. Since 2002, we have been assisting the District with project and construction management services for the $375M Measure J Modernization Program.

For both measures, Vanir provided bond planning services for the District which included bond campaign assistance and master planning services that ultimately led to the successful passage of the bonds—both of which were augmented with state funding.

These projects were successfully constructed utilizing multiple delivery systems: trade contracting, multiple/single prime using Design-Bid-Build, and more recently, Lease-Leaseback.

Exceeding Expectations

"Vanir has always met and exceeded our expectations. The Vanir team always keeps the District's best interests in mind when making decisions on our behalf. We truly feel we are partners, thank you."
