Sir Francis Drake High School
Mill Valley, CA

Project Overview

The project included construction of a new student center, conversion of the existing under-utilized student center to a full service kitchen and serving area, modernization of the school gymnasium, and reconfiguration of the locker room and ancillary areas. Vanir managed the project from master planning all the way through completion.

Streamlined Communication

As the construction manager, Vanir was the hub of information and decision making for the project team. The project used an on-line collaborative program to communicate information and maintain logs for RFIs, change orders, submittals, meeting minutes and ASIs. This system helped streamline communication and create a more efficient communication process.

Complete Customer Satisfaction

"Vanir deserves full credit for customer service and satisfaction on this project. As with many school modernization projects, District constraints often conflict with site expectations, and Ahmad [Vanir's Construction Manager] successfully communicated those conflicting needs and decisions between his two 'clients.'"
