Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion, Fitzsimons Campus
Aurora, CO

Project Overview

Vanir developed the project management plan, policies and procedures for the design and construction of the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion facility, as well as the campus master schedule, which included the Outpatient Pavilion, Cancer Center, Eye Institute, Site Utilities (infrastructure) and Central Utility Plant.

Fast-Track Success

This fast-track design-build project was completed within budget and took only 22 months from design to occupancy; two months ahead of the already aggressive schedule of 2 years.

Effective Value Engineering, Estimating and Negotiating

Through value engineering sessions, estimate reviews, and guaranteed maximum price negotiations, Vanir was successful in reducing the construction budget by 13 percent and completed the project with less than one percent in change orders.

"I have worked with Vanir CM on several projects and have been very pleased with their outstanding services. They met or exceeded all my expectations and I would be pleased to work with them again if the opportunity presents itself in the future."
